Resolved: 13 Dec 2011 - Solr Response 404 Not Found

Update: Resolved: All indexes should be responding normally as of 10:00am PST / 18:00 UTC.

Background:

A large number of our instances required reboots to apply upgraded software. Overnight on December 12–13th we performed a large data migration to move indexes off of affected servers so we could perform reboots with minimal interruption.

During this migration, some indexes experienced an increased rate of 404 errors due to a migration error affecting our routing layer. We have since deployed a fix to this issue, and all indexes should be responding normally as of 10:00am PST / 18:00 UTC.
